Jewelry Design and Making

Unique and Fun custom jewelry

I have been creating original jewelry since I was attending a Fine Art College in Japan. I found a jewelry class at Kapiolani Community College, and I took the class three times!!! There are some of my work below.

Ring Molding

Making a mold

The first process was making a paper mold to cut the shape of a ring from a silver plate. After cutting out the shape, I annealed and bent the silver piece.

Ring Soldering

Soldering

I made a top of part and body part separately, and then I put them together by soldering. I needed to think about the placement carefully to match the flower pattern to the body part. After soldering all of the parts, I cut the extra.
